As a Server your job includes:
Serving food and beverage orders to Guests in timely manner
Learning the menu to explain offerings to Guests
Partnering with other Servers to ensure Guests have everything they need
Performing opening and closing duties
Other tasks to be assigned by management
Skills/Competencies/Certifications:
Reading, writing, basic math and effective communication skills required
English language and professional communications skills are required
Ability to work in a team environment
Ability to work calmly and effectively under pressure
Must have problem solving abilities, be self-motivated, and organized
Commitment to quality service combined with a high level of food and beverage knowledge
Capable of handling multiple priorities, working under stress and exercising good judgment
Demonstrates the ability and has an eagerness to take care of every guest, every time!
Must be able to stand for entire 8 hour shift

Key Responsibilities:
-Accommodate any special needs or requests of guests
-Demonstrate genuine hospitality and set the stage for an exceptional dining experience by making every single Guest feel welcome upon arrival
-Receive incoming phone calls with a professional, knowledgeable and friendly approach
-Engage in friendly conversation as you seat Guests in a timely fashion
-Ensure that every Guest has a menu and any other important information
-Maintain a clean and organized work area and complete cleaning as assigned
-Assist in clearing, cleaning and preparing tables for incoming Guests as necessary
-Manage restaurant waiting list during high volume to accurately set Guest expectations
-Open door for Guests arriving and departing
-Sincerely thank Guests as they leave and invite them to return
-Additional tasks to be assigned by management
-Must be at least 16 years of age upon date of hire
-Must have reliable transportation and flexible schedule - may include weekends and holidays.
-Reading, writing and verbal communication skills required.
*PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS*
-Must be able to stand and exert themselves as well as demonstrate full mobility in a fast paced environment.
-Must have good sense of balance, able to bend, kneel and react swiftly to actions surrounding them.
-Must have the ability to lift bus pans, trays, cases of food and beverage weighing as much as 30 pounds.
-Must be able to stand for entire shift
-Mobility required throughout the shift.
-Ability to stoop, bend and kneel so as to wipe down table tops, bases. Pick up debris from the floor, wipe down booths and chairs, wall and windows throughout all areas of the restaurant.

The right person will be outgoing, positive and team oriented. Candidates will need to have good communication skills, have extensive line cooking experience and thrive in challenging environments.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
Ensures orders are cooked to specifications that meet quality controls and guest satisfaction.
Assists in all areas of food production as needed.
Responsible for maintaining a clean and sanitary area at all times in full accordance with State Health Regulations.
Coordinates and performs all pre-dinner prep, set-up, restocking cooler, and properly rotates items.
Performs opening/closing procedures, and kitchen cleaning procedures.
Performs all other job related duties as requested.
